Meat Industry Hall of Fame Award

The Meat Industry Hall of Fame Award recognizes visionary leaders whose influence has permanently advanced the meat and poultry industry through innovation, stewardship, and measurable contributions that strengthened the sector for future generations. This honor celebrates individuals whose careers have transcended operational excellence to create lasting industry-wide impact, elevate professional standards, and inspire the next generation of leaders.

Unlike awards that recognize annual achievements, Hall of Fame induction acknowledges a lifetime of leadership distinguished by transformative accomplishments, ethical business practices, workforce development, community engagement, and meaningful contributions to the long-term vitality of the industry.

The Hall of Fame celebrates leaders whose vision, dedication, and service have left a legacy that continues to strengthen the industry and serve as a benchmark for excellence.

The Meat Industry Hall of Fame recognizes leaders whose lifetime contributions have advanced the meat and poultry industry through innovation, stewardship, professional leadership and lasting impact beyond their own organizations. The Meat Institute is a proud partner with the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) and the American Meat Science Association (AMSA) to ensure this program continues.

The 2026 class will be inducted January 26, 2027, during IPPE in Atlanta.

The Meat Industry Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its Class of 2026 through Friday, October 16, 2026. Please review the nomination criteria and use this form to submit your nomination.
