Meat Institute Emerging Leaders Program
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be an employee of a Meat Institute member company or a Protein PACT partner
- Be a mid to senior level executive at the time the application is received
- Have the support of senior management at your organization
- Be a member of one of Meat Institute's committees.
Participation Requirements
Members of the Meat Institute Emerging Leaders Program should plan to attend the following:
In-person:
- Protein PACT Summit (October 8-10, 2024, Austin, TX)
- The Washington Experience (May 6-8, 2025, Washington, DC)
- Protein PACT Summit (October 7-9, 2025, Los Angeles, CA)
Virtual:
- Class of 2025 Program Orientation (September 2024, Microsoft Teams)
- Monthly Sessions (November 2024 - August 2025, Microsoft Teams)
Note: Selected applicants will be responsible for a $2,500.00 program fee.

Applications for the Class of 2025 will open July 1st. If you have any questions, contact Megan McCullough at mmccullough@meatinstitute.org.
- The twenty selected individuals will be announced by September 1, 2024.
- Only the top applicant from an individual company will be selected
- To determine winners, answers will be scored on the following factors:
- Commitment to continuous improvement efforts in the meat industry
- Individual initiative
- Leadership potential
- Communication/clarity of information
