Meat Institute: Reconciliation Tax Relief Critical to Meat and Poultry Companies
ARLINGTON, VA - The Meat Institute today urged Members of Congress to approve a reconciliation bill to bring certainty to the US economy and to protect tax relief for meat and poultry companies.
“The Meat Institute applauds the House’s efforts to finalize The One, Big Beautiful Bill because it includes critical tax relief for meat and poultry companies looking to modernize their operations,” said Meat Institute President and CEO Julie Anna Potts. “Our members looking to innovate and grow can take advantage of the bonus depreciation for machinery and equipment purchases and immediately expense investments in important research and development.”
